The Family Surgery also offers a vasectomy service for patients across Southport & Formby CCG & South Sefton CCG.
Patients are referred to the service by their own GP and will be contacted for an initial counselling consultation with our Specialist Nurse to assess the patient and answer any questions they may have. After the initial consultation, the patient will receive a vasectomy operation date (although if this is not suitable, will remain on a waiting list).
Initial counselling consultations are usually held on a Monday or Friday.
Vasectomy operations are held on a Saturday.
